SortMyBooks makes smart and simple accounting software for small and medium businesses. Our mission is to make accounting quick, easy and informative. SortMyBooks developed its first product Quick VAT in 2000 which was a VAT returns product for the Irish Market. By year 2002 the company launched a full accounting package called SortMyBooks. The easy to use interface made this product an instant hit with both Business owners and Accountants.
Anne graduated Strathclyde University, Glasgow with a BA(Hons) and NUI Maynooth Certificate in Training and Continuing Education. Her various roles in the US, UK and Ireland led her to work for one of the leading software consultancy firm, where she was involved in software product design, development and training for packages for Euro conversion and Y2K support for Irelands foremost financial institutions. Along with her sister Aileen, she started Aisling Software in February 2000 and launched their popular desktop accounting products SortMyBooks and QuickVAT. In 2008 the company made the natural progression to the Cloud and have the most comprehensive and feature rich product on the market for small business. Anne has 20 years’ experience working with small businesses on their accounting and business finance. Small business is the backbone of any country, they are the leaders and heroes in their communities and Anne considers it a privilege and an honour to serve them.

Aileen graduated University of Limerick with a Computer Science Degree and quickly honed her skills with various roles including computer programmer, business analyst, systems analysis and design with various leading blue chip companies in the US, the Pacific Rim and Ireland. This led Aileen to creating a partnership with her sister to launch SortMyBooks and QuickVAT in 2000. This has allowed Aileen to bring together her experiences in the corporate environment, the small business world and running her own business to help simplify and expediate the processes involved in running a small business.

Sambit graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering from Madras University in Electronics and Communication. In addition he has completed FETAC Level 6 Project Management and Green Belt in Six Sigma Technologies. He has a broad range of industry experience in contemporary business applications in SQL, PHP, Java, Ajax as well as legacy systems such as AS/400, T24 and Vision +. In addition he also has a working knowledge of IT Infrastructure and Telephony systems. Having managed multimillion dollar projects for leading blue chip companies he has consistently delivered cost-effective, high-quality solutions with on-time results.

Tom served in the US army for 20 years and has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Phoenix. He lived in Ireland for 12 years running his own IT services business, installing networks and providing support to customers such as the Department of Justice, the South West Fisheries Board, DMC Medical and the South Kerry Development Partnership. Tom is part of the SMBs Quality Assurance Team testing software before release updates and enhancements.
